Small Things

Recently I have visited Banglore due to some work. On the returning day I had plenty of time in my hand. I decided to take local transportation instead of cab. I was exploring my rout to the airport with the help of Google. I reached a market area from where I suppose to change my bus. I left the first bus and was waiting for the next. Meanwhile I decided to roam that market as I had nothing to do to spend my time. Suddenly I heard some kids were laughing out loud. My curious eyes find them easily. 3 kids were selling balloons and playing with their new yellow round shaped cap and orange sunglasses. They were not so good in selling their balloons and maximum people they approached were rejecting their balloons. Their features clearly said that they were malnourished and maximize of the day they sleep in empty stomach. Still they were joyful with small things like cap and sunglasses and they seemed like blooming buds filled with positive energy like their baloons. I tried to talk to them but due to language problem our conversation remained incompleted. I was mesmerized. Maximum of us has so much in our lives still we are forgetting our laughs gradually now-a-days and constantly thinking about what we don't have. I learned from those kids that it is the small things that make you smile more than anything else in this world. I also learned that the phrase "happiness comes from within" is absolutely right. Feeling grateful for my life and everything I have.

P. S. - Kids are the best Teachers in this world and they can teach you the greatest lessons in life if you observe them carefully.
